Named after its founder, Wuzixiong Glass Gallery, with a total area of 10,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 7,000 square meters, is located in the middle of Xiazhijing Cultural Corridor to the northwest of Shimin Square. As one of the ten tourism attractions in Taizhou, the gallery which comprises “Fantastic World of Glass Arts” and “Legends of Mr. Wu Zixiong” is a patriotism education base at the district and city levels. Among its nearly 10,000 items of sophisticated artworks are the only 15-meter-long relievo in China, the only glass engraving calligraphy corridor in China, Crystal Chinese Chess, Mr. Wu’s photos with three generations of top Chinese leaders, and messages appreciating Mr. Wu’s artwork by over 28,000 foreigners. Much to the excitement of the visitors, Mr. Wu showed up for a demonstration of his art.
