The Dduobao Temple, the largest Tibetan Tantrism in regions south of the Yangtze River, enshrines the founder of Gelu Denomination of Tibetan Tantrism and his major disciples. The temple boasts most of a piece of three-meter-tall and 4.5-ton-weighted Burmese jade gifted by Qingding Master. Located at the foot of a mountain, the temple, formerly known as Longxiangyuan, was built by a Buddhist master in the East Jin Dynasty 1,600 years ago and rebuilt during the Tongzhi Period of the Qing Dynasty. The temple was severely damaged during the Cultural Revaluation and used as the school house of Gaojian High School.
Located in Gaojian Village, Gaojian Town, the temple is only 150 meters away from No. 34 Provincial Route connected by the 18-meter-wide Gaojian Road. The temple, 15 kilometers away from Sanmen County, is accessible through Yongtaiwen Expressway and Shangsan Expressway. A wax museum to the east of the main entrance displays works by Gaojian Artwork Factory.
