On January 22, reporters learned from Taizhou Customs of the PRC that Taizhou's foreign trade achieved steady growth in 2025, with the total import and export value reaching RMB 279.98 billion for the year, ranking third in Zhejiang Province in terms of year-on-year growth rate.

According to statistics from Taizhou Customs of the PRC, exports in 2025 reached RMB 255.35 billion, up 7.0 percent, while imports reached RMB 24.63 billion, up 2.7 percent. The structure of foreign trade continued to improve, with exports maintaining a dominant position, accounting for over 91 percent of the total import and export value, further strengthening the momentum of high-quality development.
