In April, operations at the Sanmen Jiantiao Port Area continue day and night.

On April 16, at the wharf of Taizhou Hengtou Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., company head Chen Rongxi looked at the cargo ship that had just docked, his tone conveying reassurance: “In the first quarter, both raw material arrivals and finished goods shipments increased significantly, but the port dispatch response was very timely. Ship berthing, departure, and loading/unloading were basically seamless, with no port or ship congestion occurring”.

This “reassurance” is backed by data. From January to March this year, the Jiantiao Port Area cumulatively handled 3.5966 million tons of cargo throughput, a year-on-year increase of 43.80%. Its growth rate jumped to first place in the city, successfully achieving a “strong start” for the first quarter.
