As the Spring Festival approaches, a train ticket for the journey home touches the hearts of many people working away from home. The 2026 Spring Festival travel rush will officially begin on February 2 and end on March 13, lasting a total of 40 days. At present, train tickets for the first day of the Spring Festival travel rush went on sale on January 19.

The Spring Festival holiday this year runs from February 15 to February 23, lasting nine days. According to the current regulation of a 15-day advance ticket sales period for railway passenger tickets, tickets for the first day of the Spring Festival holiday (February 15) can be purchased on February 1; return tickets for the seventh day of the first lunar month (February 23) can be purchased on February 9; and return tickets for the Lantern Festival (March 3) can be purchased on February 17. Passengers are advised to keep track of key ticket sales dates and make ticket purchase arrangements in advance.
