Taizhou 2026-10-28 16:47

Recently, reporters learned from the Taizhou Disabled Persons' Federation that starting from October 31, registered residents of Taizhou holding disability certificates can ride urban buses and Rail Transit Line S1 in Taizhou for free. At that time, designated service outlets will begin processing the "Caring Card for Persons with Disabilities".

Specifically, applicants need to bring their ID cards, disability certificates, one one-inch color photo, and other required materials to designated service outlets in Jiaojiang, Huangyan, and Luqiao to apply for the "Caring Card for Persons with Disabilities". A card fee of 15 yuan is required upon application. Agents may also handle the application on their behalf by bringing all relevant certificates and materials. For related inquiries, please call 0576-88050666.

To make it more convenient for the public to apply for cards nearby, Rail Transit Line S1 has added two new offline service outlets for transportation cards, namely the customer service centers at Enze Hospital Station and Wenling First People's Hospital Station. These outlets offer card processing during station operating hours, further expanding the application channels and extending the available processing hours. In addition to the Caring Card, student cards and senior citizen cards can also be processed here by bringing an ID card, a student ID, one one-inch color photo, and paying a 15-yuan card fee.

After obtaining the "Caring Card for Persons with Disabilities", cardholders can ride buses in the Taizhou urban area (Jiaojiang, Huangyan, Luqiao, and Taizhou Bay New Area) and Wenling urban area (except special routes) for free. They can also swipe the card for free rides on Rail Transit Line S1 (swiping is required for both entry and exit). With the card, passengers no longer need to repeatedly exchange single-journey tickets.
