On the afternoon of May 7, Wang Jian, Mayor and Secretary of Taizhou Municipal Government Party Group presided over the Taizhou Municipal Government Party Group (Expanded) Meeting and the 84th Executive Meeting of the Taizhou Municipal Government. The meeting conveyed, studied, and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches at the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee meeting, analyzing the current economic situation and economic work, at the 25th Collective Study Session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, and at the Symposium on Strengthening Basic Research. The meeting heard reports on the progress and next steps of the concentrated rectification of misconduct and corruption issues close to the masses in the first quarter, and reviewed and approved in principle the Regulations on the Protection and Development of Geographical Indication Products in Taizhou (Draft).
