From September 2 to 3, the 6th Congress of the Taizhou Municipal Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy (CAPD) was held. Representatives from across the city heard and reviewed the work report of the 5th Taizhou Municipal Committee of the CAPD and elected the 6th Taizhou Municipal Committee of the CAPD. Cai Xiujun, Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial CPPCC, Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CAPD, and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended and delivered a speech. Wang Anjing, full-time Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CAPD and Director of its Internal Supervision Committee, attended the congress to offer congratulations. Municipal leaders including Miao Wenbin, Li Changming, Lyu Tingting, Chu Yijun, Chen Jianxun, and Chen Jinhua attended the meeting.
