On the morning of October 14, the fourth citywide fire safety point-study and point-inspection meeting was held via video conference. Zhang Dengfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor of Taizhou, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He emphasized the need to thoroughly implement the guiding principles from the General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and directives on workplace safety, earnestly implement the decisions and arrangements of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and the Zhejiang Provincial Government, firmly uphold the principle of putting people and life first, continuously deepen the inspection and rectification of hidden risks and hazards, make every effort to advance special rectification in key industries, continuously improve the point-study and point-inspection working mechanism, tighten and solidify responsibilities at the grassroots level, resolutely achieve the goals of "five no-occurences, two decreases, and one guarantee", and comprehensively fortify the bottom line and defense line of fire safety. Municipal leaders Chen Tingchen, Li Changming, Ma Jianbin, and Lin Qiang attended the meeting.
