On September 10, reporters learned from the 2026 press conference on the full opening of fishing, jointly held by the Taizhou Maritime Safety Administration and the Municipal Marine Economy Development Bureau, that at 12:00 on September 16, the East China Sea will fully open for fishing, and 702 single-trawl, double-trawl, and other fishing vessels in the city will go out to sea for fishing operations. Together with the 2,846 specially permitted fishing vessels that have already gone to sea, the city's fishery production volume will see a significant rebound. Multiple departments have made arrangements in advance to make every effort to build a solid maritime safety barrier and ensure a smooth and orderly opening of fishing.
