On the morning of October 8, the second project exchange meeting of the 2026 Breakthrough Year campaign centered on the three catalytic levers, themed "Demonstrating Commitment Through Action and Planning for the Future", was held. The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented the guiding principles from the General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection tour of Zhejiang, earnestly implemented the "132" overall work plan of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, its "five requirements" for Taizhou, and its new expectation of "delivering outstanding results". Closely following the "1336" work system of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and adhering to the principle of "judging development and measuring performance by projects", the meeting further strengthened the planning and construction of major projects and major works, continued to foster a strong atmosphere of "focusing on projects and pursuing major projects", and aimed to drive Taizhou's high-quality catch-up development with more high-quality projects. Wang Jian, Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting. Zhang Dengfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor of Taizhou, delivered a speech. Municipal leaders of the four leading bodies, including Wu Haiping, Miao Weilun, and Lin Xianhua, attended the meeting.

The meeting introduced the relevant information about the event and the rules for project roadshows. Taizhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission reported on the participating projects and the progress of the roadshow projects from the first exchange meeting; Taizhou Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, and the Taizhou Bay New Area shared typical experience in project planning. Twelve high-quality projects were presented in roadshows, and Zhu Fajun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, Deputy Director of its Committee on Population, Resources and Environment, and Vice Chairman of the Science and Technology Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Water Resources, commented on site on behalf of the expert panel.
