On September 2, Taizhou Luantan Opera, a national-level intangible cultural heritage item, successfully completed the recording of its repertoire under the Chinese Opera Audio-Visual Project. This is the first time Taizhou Luantan Opera has been selected for a national-level key project, meaning that this rare local opera genre with a 400-year history has officially been preserved in a national-level standardized stage audio-visual archive.
