On the afternoon of December 25, a meeting to solicit opinions on documents of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, together with the second plenary session of the 24th Standing Committee Meeting of the Sixth Taizhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), was convened. The meeting briefed participants on Taizhou's economic and social development and carried out specialized political consultation on the Suggestions of the CPC Taizhou Municipal Committee on Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Taizhou Municipality (Draft for Soliciting Opinions), as well as the municipal Party committee report and the work report of the municipal commission for discipline inspection to the Fifth Party Congress of the Sixth Taizhou Municipal Committee. Opinions and suggestions were heard from the municipal committees of all democratic parties, the Federation of Industry and Commerce, representatives of non-Party personages, Party congress deputies, people's congress deputies and CPPCC members, and all members of the Standing Committee of the Taizhou Municipal CPPCC.
