On June 17, the Taizhou Municipal Education Bureau held a press conference to report on the progress of campus football programs in primary and secondary schools across the city. In recent years, Taizhou has promoted both the popularity and competitiveness of campus football through the integrated development of physical education and academic education, shaping a development model that balances distinctive characteristics and standardized governance, with a dual focus on cultural enrichment and athletic achievement. As of now, the city has built 163 football-specialized schools at or above the provincial level, including 111 at the national level. Jiaojiang District has been recognized as a National Youth Campus Football Pilot District, while Huangyan, Wenling, and Tiantai have been selected as provincial reform pilot zones.
