On May 14, the Taizhou Public Security Bureau held a press conference to brief the public on the city's road traffic safety and management efforts. Since the beginning of 2024, public security organs across Taizhou have focused on the three key concepts of safety, quality, and civility, fully implementing the concept of joint governance in traffic safety. They introduced ten major initiatives, leading to a significant improvement in road traffic conditions. Notably, the number of fatalities from road traffic accidents has decreased by 9.44% year-on-year, and the traffic health index ranks third nationwide and second in Zhejiang Province.
