On February 19, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences announced six "2024 New Archaeological Discoveries in China", with the Xiatang Neolithic site in Xianju County among them. This is the only project from Zhejiang Province to be selected this year and marks the first time Taizhou has been included in this prestigious list.
