On the afternoon of November 11, Wang Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, presided over the Taizhou Municipal Government Party Group (Expanded) Meeting and the 70th Executive Meeting of the Taizhou Municipal Government. The meeting conveyed, studied, and implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's recent important speeches and articles, and reviewed and, in principle, adopted the proposal to raise the basic pension standards for urban and rural residents under the basic old-age insurance scheme in 2025.
