On the morning of November 8, ahead of the 26th Chinese Journalists' Day, Shen Mingquan, Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, presided over a symposium with journalists, extending festive greetings on behalf of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and the Taizhou Municipal People's Government to all journalists across Taizhou City. He encouraged media professionals to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses on news and public opinion work, focus on the "4+1" key requirements and the "132" overall work plan of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, and align closely with this year's "Three Major Driving Initiatives". He urged all journalists to act with a strong sense of responsibility and affection — "speaking up for Taizhou and working hard for Taizhou" — to continue telling Taizhou's stories well, spreading Taizhou's voice, and showcasing Taizhou's image, so as to jointly make news and publicity work more effective, practical, and impactful, and to foster a favorable public opinion atmosphere for accelerating Taizhou's high-quality and leapfrog development. City leaders Pan Junming and Chen Tingchen attended the meeting.
