On the evening of January 4, Li Yueqi, Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, conducted an unannounced inspection of maritime and fishery safety in Luqiao District using the "Field Investigation without Notice and Report" approach. He stressed the importance of deeply studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses on production safety, firmly upholding the philosophy of "Put People and Their Lives First," and maintaining a sense of responsibility and vigilance akin to "walking on thin ice." Efforts must be made to strengthen the implementation of safety responsibilities, persistently enforce fishery law and regulation oversight, and fully address potential risks and hidden dangers in fishing vessel safety. These actions aim to enhance the intrinsic safety of marine fisheries, protect the lives and property of fishermen, and ensure the interactive development of a high-quality marine economy and high-level safety.
