On the morning of January 6, Li Yueqi, Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, and Shen Mingquan, Deputy Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, led a delegation to visit Zhejiang University of Technology for a cooperation meeting with university representatives. They had discussions with Cai Yuanqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang University of Technology, and Gao Xiang, President of the university and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. A new round of agreements for university-city cooperation was signed during the meeting. Both sides committed to focusing on implementing major national and provincial strategies and to further collaboration in fields such as technological innovation, technical services, talent cultivation, and the industrialization of high-tech achievements. Li Yueqi and Cai Yuanqiang jointly unveiled the plaque for the Functional Party Branch of the Taizhou Institute of Zhejiang University of Technology. Shen Mingquan and Gao Xiang signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Chen Tingchen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary General, attended the event, and Vice President Hu Jun chaired the meeting.
