On May 20, 7,365 tons of New Zealand kiwifruit passed inspection by Taizhou Customs and cleared customs smoothly at the Damaiyu Port Area of Taizhou Port. This batch of fresh fruit, which arrived on the refrigerated cargo ship “Extreme”, is not only the first batch of New Zealand kiwifruit imported by the port area this year but also set a new record for the single-batch import weight since the approval of Taizhou Port's designated supervision area for imported fruits. It has become the largest single batch of imported kiwifruit ever received at Taizhou Port.
