On May 28, a cargo ship departing from Ust-Luga Port in Russia docked at the Toumen Port Area of Taizhou Port for lightening operations. Subsequently, the ship is scheduled to continue upstream on the river on the 29th, heading to Zhenjiang Port in Jiangsu for unloading and transshipment.

This marks the official opening of the new fertilizer supply channel from Russia to Taizhou to Zhenjiang, creating a new and important shipping route for fertilizer import transportation in the Yangtze River Basin. The potash fertilizer being unloaded this time is also a new type of cargo handled for the first time at the Toumen Port Area.
