On the morning of December 16, Wang Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, conducted research in Jiaojiang District, Huangyan District, and the Taizhou Bay New Area on the planning of key urban areas. He emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, the Central Urban Work Conference, and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on urban work, fully carry out the deployment and requirements of the provincial Party committee and provincial government, give full play to the strategic guiding and rigid control role of planning in urban development, and, with systematic thinking and a broad vision, plan and advance the major task of urban renewal in depth and with solid measures. Efforts should be made to continuously optimize the urban spatial layout, enhance the city's development capacity, and build a modern people-centered city at a high level.
