Taizhou was selected into the National “Zero Waste City” Construction List, due to the historic transformation in comprehensive evaluation of water environment quality. Taizhou City and Luqiao District were awarded the provincial ecological civilization construction demonstration districts, and Taizhou is the only prefecture-level city in this batch on this title.
