Provincial Symposium on Forest Activities was held in Hangzhou in the afternoon of January 9, with Ye Haiyan, Chairman of the CPPCC Municipal Committee, participating. At the Symposium, 100 collectives and 200 individuals with outstanding achievements in the 15th anniversary of the forest activities in Zhejiang Province were commended, and 49 towns were recognized as “Forest Towns in Zhejiang Province”. 8 organizations including Taizhou Municipal Forestry Bureau and 18 individuals including Zhou Jin were commended, and Qiansuo Street in Jiaojiang was recognized as the “Forest Town in Zhejiang Province”.
