Data of Taizhou Customs showed that Taizhou’s foreign trade realized a total import and export value of 88.17 billion yuan in the first four months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 26.0%, and the import and export of the whole province increased by 19.3% in the same period. Among them, the export was 80.36 billion yuan, an increase of 25.2%, and the import was 7.81 billion yuan, an increase of 34.3%. The growth rates of Taizhou’s foreign trade import & export, export, and import from January to April were all higher than the average growth rates of the whole province, ranking fifth, sixth and third in the whole province.
