Guan Wenxin (Deputy Mayor) is responsible for the work related to civil affairs, ecology and environment, water conservancy, agriculture and rural affairs, veterans affairs, management over harbor and shipping ports and fisheries, and poverty alleviation, as well as the daily work of Taizhou Bay New Area.

In charge of the Civil Affairs Bureau, Ecology and Environment Bureau, Water Resources Bureau, Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Bureau of Veterans Affairs, Shipping Ports and Fisheries Administration, Port and Shipping Development Center, Supply and Marketing Cooperative, Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Reservoir Region Migration Work Center, Poverty Alleviation and Development Service Center, Flood and Drought Control Center (Watershed System Development Center), Office for “Common Control over Five Kinds of Water” (Water Environment Improvement Office), Water Construction Group, Zhuxi Reservoir Headquarters, and Dongguan River Improvement Headquarters of Taizhou, as well as the Office of the Leading Group for Damaiyu Port Development.

Coordinating the work of the Taizhou Maritime Safety Administration, Weather Bureau of Taizhou, Citrus Research Institute of Zhejiang Province, Taizhou Disabled Persons’ Federation, and Taizhou Charity Federation.

Guan Wenxin, male, Han Nationality, born in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province in Jan., 1966, started work in July, 1986. He is a member of the CPC and has an on-job university degree. Currently, he holds the posts of Deputy Mayor of the Taizhou Municipal Government and Director of the Management Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Taizhou Bay New Area.

Guan has successively served as Deputy Secretary and Secretary of the Jiaojiang District Committee of the CYL; Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Xiachen Town, Jiaojiang District, Taizhou City (Section-Chief level); Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of the People’s Congress of Sanjia Town; Secretary of the CPC Hongjia Town Committee; Secretary of the CPC Haimen Sub-district Committee; Standing Committee Member and Director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Jiaojiang District Committee, Standing Committee Member of the CPC Jiaojiang District Committee, and Deputy Head and Executive Deputy Head of Jiaojiang District; Secretary of the CPC Committee and Director of the Harbor and Shipping Ports and Fisheries Administration of Taizhou City; Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Director of the Maritime and Fisheries Bureau of Taizhou City; Secretary of the CPC Tiantai County Committee. He was appointed Director of the Management Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Taizhou Bay New Area in Aug., 2020 and Deputy Mayor of the Taizhou Municipal Government in Feb., 2021.
