According to the Annual Report of Household Appliance Industry in China 2020 published a few days ago, in 2020, the retail sales in the domestic household appliance market declined by 9.2% year on year, but since the beginning of 2021, the market has been gradually picking up. As shown by the data of CMM, in the overall household appliance market in Jan., 2021, the retail sales rose by 26.97% year on year.

In addition to the peak demand season around the Spring Festival, the rapid growth in retail sales was partly due to the sharp price rise in raw materials, which triggered a knock-on effect on the rise of terminal sales price.
