During the Spring Festival this year, all administrative areas in Jiaojiang, Huangyan, and Luqiao Districts are restricted from setting off firecrackers, and it is only allowed to set off fireworks and firecrackers on Lunar New Year’s Eve and the 1st day and 15th day of the 1st lunar month (Feb. 11, 12, and 26, 2021). Meanwhile, it is prohibited to set off fireworks and firecrackers within 100 meters from key fire protection areas including government agencies, cultural relics protection units, locations of military installations, and mountain forests, as well as production and storage units of inflammables and explosives, medical institutions, schools, elderly care institutions, petrol stations, and train stations.
