On July 14, the Municipal Government of Taizhou signed a 5G strategic cooperation agreement with China Unicom Zhejiang Branch. Both parties will carry out close cooperation in government services, industrial upgrading, improvement of people's livelihood, and social governance to achieve win-win development. Wu Haiping, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Taizhou, and Hu Xingzheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Unicom Zhejiang Branch, delivered speeches respectively. The signing ceremony was presided over by Lin Jinrong, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress and Secretary-General of the Municipal Government, and Deputy Mayor Jiang Bingfeng signed the agreement on behalf of the Municipal Government.
