As cultural undertakings are becoming increasingly prosperous in Taizhou, local people enjoy a colorful and rich cultural life. The Municipality has one cultural and entertaining center, nine cultural centers, 10 public libraries and five museums. Taizhou has taken initiative to build culture clubs at the grassroots level. So far, 500 clubs have been built. The municipality looks forward to building a total number of 1,500 clubs in three years. Taizhou has a state-grade tennis training base, the only one in China at present.
