Text Size:A A A 2018-12-25

With four instances in five years, the “E-Commerce Law of the People’s Republic of China” (hereinafter referred to as the E-Commerce Law) was finally introduced and will be formally implemented on January 1, 2019, which means that the online transactions will be brought into the legal system on the right track in the future, and we will have laws to abide by in terms of protection of online rights.

In order to correctly interpret the E-Commerce Law, the Zhejiang Province Electronic Commerce Promotion Center, the Zhejiang Commerce Certification Center, and the Research Institute of the China International Electronic Commerce Center jointly organized the publicity and training for the E-Commerce Law last week. Professor Yang Jianzheng, Director of the Policy and Law Committee of the China Electronic Commerce Association and one of the drafters of the E-Commerce Law, and other experts are invited to conduct an authoritative interpretation.
