Gao Xilong, Governor of Hoengseong County, South Korea, Zheng Mingche, Head of Hoengseong County Council, and other members of the Hoengseong County Government delegation made a visit to Taizhou. Yin Xuequn, Member of the Taizhou Municipal CPC Standing Committee and Sectary of the Linhai Municipal CPC Committee, Wang Yilang, Head of the Standing Committee of Taizhou Municipal People’s Congress, and other officials held a welcome ceremony in Huaqiao Hotel.

Yin gave a warm welcome to the Korean Delegation on behalf of all Taizhou citizens. He said that Lianhai City has always been dedicated to promoting friendly communication with Hoengseong County, which got a positive result in mutual exchange and understanding through mutual visits of officials, public servants, and cultural delegations as well as student exchanges especially after the official signing of the friendly exchange agreement between Linhai and Hoengseong in November 2005. South Korea is a developed country filled with advanced developing concepts, especially in social management and environment protection. He hoped that Linhai and Hoengseong could have a broader stage for communication and collaboration for mutual development. Yin also expressed his wish that the guests have a happy and meaningful trip in Taizhou.

Gao expressed gratefulness for the warm welcome received. He said that China is a dynamic country with big changes. So does Linhai. This trip let him and his delegation know more about Linhai. He expected a comprehensive cooperation between each other in varied fields so as to make contributions to the development in two cities.

The two sides had an in-depth exchange in economic and social fields. Yin and Gao, and Wang and Zheng, exchanged gifts with each other.
