Introduced from Hangzhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 1990, Rose Juicy Peach was cultivated in Luoshu Village, Zhejiang Province. The base covers an area of 600 mu, with the estimated annual production of 0.8 million kilos, and sale of RMB3.2 million, the promising market mainly benefits from the aerated sandy soil and experienced local fruit farmers.

An excellent variety of Rose Juicy Peach is the early maturing peach. Rosy, juicy, soft and fragrant, generally an oval peach weighs 150 to 200 grams; soluble solids content of the clingstone fruit is 8% to 11%. Flower buds are abundant in peach trees. All the branches can bear fruits, mainly the long branches. With plenty of pollen and high yields, the output of grown-up trees per mu is 1,500 kilos. The peaches will be ripe in early or mid June.
